Spotting your queen during a hive inspection can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Whether you’re brand-new to beekeeping, have been at it for decades, or fall somewhere in between, a simple queen marking can make inspections so much easier!
 
For a small fee, we’ll do the queen-spotting for you — and mark her so she’s easy to find in the future.

Queen marking is optional and is not included with nuc or hive purchases unless you add it to your cart.
The cost is $25 per queen.
1 unit = 1 marked queen.
 
Example:
If your cart contains 3 nucs and you only add 1 “Queen Marking” unit, we will only mark the queen in one of those nucs. If you want all 3 queens marked, you’ll need to add 3 “Queen Marking” units.
